The ECO Learning Center Is Open For Business
On September 20, 2016 the ECO Learning Center opened its doors to the public to share mindfulness and sustainable living through workshops, classes, and community service.

On September 20, 2016, the ECO Learning Center opened its doors to the public at the Grand Opening Celebration! It was a historic day filled with immense support from the entire community. Earth Citizens Organization was also proud to welcome County Supervisor, Chip Davis, Cottonwood City Manager, Doug Bartosh, and Marketing Director of the Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce, Michelle Masters who all presented congratulatory speeches, as well as a message from Senator Silvia Allen. In addition, Executive Director of ECO, Steve Kim revealed his plans to positively impact the community through collaboration and education. ECO’s founder, Ilchi Lee, also gave a heartfelt speech about the humble beginnings of the Earth Citizen Movement and how each person has the capacity to enact positive change. Finally, we finished with the ribbon cutting and celebrated with cake and delicious food.

The ECO Learning Center will be the first of many across the world and will serve as the new medium for ECO workshops, classes, and community outreach to spread mindful living and sustainability. ECO’s mission is to reach 1% of the world’s population and to help catalyze a shift in which all people remember that despite all of our seeming differences, we are all Earth Citizens and the earth is what we all have in common.

Earth Citizens Organization (ECO) is a non-profit that promotes natural health and mindful living for a sustainable world. An Earth Citizen is a person who understands that we are all citizens of the Earth and takes responsibility for its well-being.
